Our Story

From the grove to your ritual

Novargan began with a simple conviction: that the beauty traditions of Morocco deserve to be shared honestly, and that the hands behind them deserve to be seen.

We are a small house, pressing and bottling at origin, in the country where these rituals began.

A tradition kept by hand

The argan tree grows in southwestern Morocco and nowhere else, and its kernels are still cracked one by one, between two stones, the way they have been for centuries. It is slow, deliberate work. We chose to build around that craft rather than replace it.

Bottled at origin

Rather than ship raw materials abroad to be processed, we press, mill, and bottle in Morocco, in small lots. It means each batch carries the full character of its harvest, and that the work stays where the materials come from.

Why unroasted matters

Argan kernels can be roasted or left raw, and that choice decides what the oil is for. Roasted gives the deep, nutty oil of the Moroccan kitchen — unroasted gives a pale gold oil, almost without scent, and that is the one that belongs in a beauty ritual. Every bottle we press is unroasted.
